The focus this year? Emerging Technologies and Challenges for agents, teams, and brokerages. Here are some key themes I noticed:
AI in Real Estate Is on the Rise: I saw an incredible variety of AI-powered solutions, though I noticed that there is still a long way to go for AI to be truly impactful for agents. In a roundtable discussion led by Angie Javier, many agents are still only using ChatGPT for writing listing descriptions. There's a clear need for AI tools that are simple, one-stop and affordable.
Challenges with Association Membership: With the Aug 17 Settlement change that's shaken up the industry, local associations are now looking for better ways to serve and retain their members, which means real estate professionals can expect clearer value propositions from the associations in the coming year.
Lead Generation on top of Agents' Minds: It’s no surprise that these continue to be agents' focus. Every conversation highlighted the need for simple, effective ways to reach clients and nurture leads, and finding more business.
